    Rechargeable Lithium batteries cannot be shipped by air with more than 30% SOC

    During the 25th meeting held October 19-30, 2015, of The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Dangerous Goods Panel, approved a revision for Packing Instruction 965 to prohibit the transport of rechargeable Lithium Cells and Batteries at a SOC (State of Charge) of greater than 30% of their rated capacity.
