    Fedco Electronics Acquires Energy Access

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Fedco Electronics Acquires Energy Access, Bringing Together Complementary Power Technologies, Markets and Cultures

FOND DU LAC, WI  — Aug. 31, 2026 — Fedco Electronics, Inc., parent company of Fedco Batteries, has acquired Energy Access, Inc., converging two organizations with complementary technologies, overlapping markets, and a shared approach to serving customers with engineered power solutions. The acquisition builds on an existing relationship between the two companies and creates further opportunity to bring together capabilities across the portable power ecosystem.

Energy Access, located in Indianapolis, specializes in custom battery charging, battery management, power management and related electronic solutions for OEM applications. Fedco Electronics brings deep expertise in battery systems and portable power solutions.  The combination also expands the technical conversation available to customers.  Battery selection, charging, battery protection, communication and power management are increasingly interconnected decisions. Bringing the capabilities of Fedco and Energy Access together creates opportunities to address those challenges more holistically.

“This combination makes sense on several levels,” said Peter Victor, president of Fedco Electronics. “Our technologies complement one another. We serve many of the same demanding markets, and we share a core philosophy about how we operate and work collaboratively with customers and with internal teams. We see tremendous opportunity in bringing those strengths together.”

Fedco and Energy Access serve customers in markets where reliability, technical expertise and long-term partnership are critical, including across the medical, military and defense industries, as well as test and measurement, industrial, IOT, safety and other specialized OEM applications. Both companies have built their businesses around relationships, collaboration, responsiveness and a commitment to solving difficult customer problems. That shared foundation was a significant factor in the decision to move forward together.

“From the beginning, Energy Access has grown by listening closely to customers and developing solutions around the problems they are actually trying to solve,” said Josh Renicker, COO of Energy Access. “In Fedco, we found an organization that understands that same approach. The alignment goes far beyond products. There is a strong fit in the leadership, the way we approach engineering, and the cultures of our respective organizations. When we looked at Fedco, we saw alignment in the technology, alignment in the markets we serve, and alignment in how we believe customers and people should be treated. That gives us a really strong foundation for what comes next.”

Both organizations will continue to operate independently out of their locations in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and Indianapolis, Indiana.

The acquisition is effective August 31, 2026.
